Cool Side Braid

This is a lazy day hair style that actually looks really cute! And its way easy! First, part your hair like you would for the tucked away french braid. French braid the first section all the way down.

Then, using that braid as one section, put your hair in a side braid!

Beauty Tip 1

For smooth legs, shave with condintioner! I use one that I bought and didn't like. It makes your legs soooo smooth!

Homemade Hair Mask

This hair mask adds proteins and nutrients to your hair that will make it shiny and healthy!

Ingredients:

2 eggs

1/2 cup yogurt

1/2 cup honey

1/2 cup olive oil

1. Beat the eggs until they become frothy and add in the olive oil.

2. Whisk until it's fully blended together and add in the yogurt, mixing until it's a creamy consistency. Then add the honey. (It smells bad and looks weird, but it works!)

3. Comb out any knots and tangles in your hair, and spread the mixture from your roots to your ends, combing it through.

4. Wrap your hair in a warm towel for twenty to thirty minutes before your rinse it out and shampoo.

Tucked away french braid

I know the name is lame... but I couldn't think of anything else!!!:)
For this cute hairdo, first I parted my hair like this

Then, I french braided the first section down, and then secured it at the bottom with a hair elastic. Then, I put the rest of my hair down. I'm doing this for the first day of school, but with an inverted french braid!!:)

Ballet Bun

This is for all you ballerinas! I'm a ballerina, so I have to do a bun a LOT. Here's one way to do a cute one! First, I took a section of hair and started to french braid it a little. Then, I just finished the braid and pulled it back into a ponytail. Then, I braided the hair in the ponytail and pulled it into a bun!

Naturaly Curly Hair

If you have naturally curly hair like me, then this post is for you! I found this great curling iron at Target, and it's called a Remington. All I did for my hair today, was let my hair go naturally curly, and then wrapped some pieces from the top layer around the curling iron. Simple and cute:) If you don't have naturally curly hair, you can still use this curling iron, but you'll have to curl more of your hair:)

Twist Half-up

This hair do is really easy to do, and looks really pretty. First, take a section of hair and seperate it into two. Then, start twist it back. Each time you twist, add a section of hair from the front. Then, do it to the other side, and secure the twists inthe back. If I figure out how to make the videos on Blogger on, I'll put a tutorial on:)

Cute Headbands

Lately, I've been seeing cute headbands everywhere! I wear them all the time, so I thought I do a post about four of my favorite ones and tell you where I got them!

The first one my mom's cousin made. She has an etsy account called Sincerly, Merm. http://www.etsy.com/shop/SincerelyMerm?page=1 She makes each one of them from designer felt!

The second and third ones I got from Down East.

The last one I got from True Birds. I also have a necklace from there that's a harmonica and you can play it! http://www.truebirds.com

How to get natural-looking waves!

Have you always wanted pretty, natural-looking waves without a ton of gel and heat? Well we have the answer! After you get out of the shower, put some gel in and then french braid your wet hair, and then let in dry! Take the braid out and you'll have soft, pretty waves!

Pretty Updo

This updo looks complicated, but it's really easy! First, you put your hair into a low messy bun, leaving pieces out at the front. Curl the pieces in the front, then pin them back!

It would look really pretty with a flower or another pretty accessory!

Fishtail Hairdo

For this hairdo, I just did two fishtail braids, and then pulled them back and pinned them with a flower.

Nails

I did this nail design the other day and got lots of compliments! for the sparkly ring finger I just painted it, and then dipped it in a tub of sparkles while it was still wet!

DIY Stretchy Headband

This is a cute and easy to make headband that I wear on lazy days. To make it, I took and old pair of leggings and cut a 3 inch strip at the widest part of the leg.

(Please ignore my pajamas:) It was Saturday morning!)
